About Me

I was born in Bulgaria and lived in the United States for most of my life. I completed my BSc. in Psychology at the University of Georgia, after which I moved to The Netherlands to complete the Research MSc. in Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience at Maastricht University.

I recently completed my PhD at the University Medical Center Groningen (defending May 16th, 2022). I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University Medical Center Groningen and Radboud University.

Alongside my studies and work, I’ve always enjoyed being a part of various community projects in the areas of mental and public health. I like applying the skills I have to improve well-being in my community, working with other passionate people, and learning new things along the way.
